A few students have asked me about turn-in dates for the immigrant scrapbook. We will modify the schedule next week, and the remainder of the work will count toward the second marking period grade. The historical note, however, will count towards the first marking period grade. The advantage is that we can take a little extra time with completing the remaining components, and your grades for the first marking period will probably be higher than that what they would be with the entire scrapbook grade. That's good, right?
We all have to be flexible in consideration of the devastating effects of the storm.
I understand that some of you may not even have power to be able to see this post.
I looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow, and I am sure it will be a nice return to normal for all of us even if it means going back to school.
